The Application Process
To apply for Transom in Europe you purchase a ticket to the application process. The application process is handled by Eventbrite and It is very important that you fill in the questions as you check out.

You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the program start to participate.

The Selection Process

Selection is competitive. We look forward to congregating a mixed group of creative, dedicated newcomers and more experienced storytellers — those seeking a strong set of entry-level skills and those hoping to take their next steps forward. Previous experience isn’t needed, but helps. Those who complete the application earlier rather than later will gain advantage in the selection process. Twelve people will be selected to participate.

Application Processing Cost
There is a 30€ processing fee to apply for the program. The application final cost may vary a little depending which country you are in and/or which currency you use to pay the application fee. This fee is non-refundable.

  • Selection Decisions Announced & Waiting List Established // 15 June, 2025

  • Enrollment Confirmations & Program Tuition Due // 22 June, 2025

Program Costs

If you are accepted to the program the following program costs must be paid no later than 22 June, 2025

  • 3600 € per person - Includes full week of program instruction + 7 nights accommodation at Publix Berlin

  • 2800 € per person - For Berlin-based participants attending daily sessions
